It works by blocking the CYP450-dependent 14-alpha sterol demethylase enzyme, which is essential for producing ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. ✔️ Dosage & Administration | Candicon Oral Suspension

Take Candicon tablets or oral suspension at least 1 hour before or after meals.

Patients ≥ 40 kg

Loading dose (first 24 hrs): 400 mg or 10 ml every 12 hours

Maintenance dose: 200 mg or 5 ml twice daily

Patients < 40 kg

Loading dose (first 24 hrs): 200 mg or 5 ml every 12 hours

Maintenance dose: 100 mg or 2.5 ml twice daily

Use as directed by a registered physician.

Adjust dose when used with CYP3A4, CYP2C9, and CYP2C19 inhibitors or inducers

Add 25 ml of boiled and cooled water (5 spoonfuls using the provided spoon).
Shake vigorously until fully mixed.
Discard 14 days after preparation.
Store reconstituted suspension at 15°–30°C.
