- Apply a thin layer of Fusidate cream to the affected area, usually three to four times daily, or as directed by your doctor. If the area is covered with a dressing, less frequent application may be appropriate as advised by your healthcare professional.
- Wash your hands before and after application.
- Clean and dry the affected area before applying the cream.
- Use only on the skin; do not swallow or insert it into the body.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Complete the prescribed course and avoid prolonged or repeated use without medical advice.

- Do not use Fusidate cream if you are allergic to sodium fusidate, fusidic acid, or any of its ingredients.
- Avoid prolonged or excessive application, as it may increase skin sensitivity and contribute to antibiotic resistance.
- Use cautiously around the eyes and on sensitive skin.
- Consult your doctor if the infection worsens, spreads, or does not improve.
- Cream-contaminated clothing, bedding, dressings, and other fabrics may catch fire more easily. Keep them away from cigarettes, open flames, and other ignition sources. Washing may reduce, but not completely remove, residue.
