Oxecone M Antacid Suspension | 200ml
Oxecone-M contains Magaldrate, a hydroxymagnesium aluminate compound.
In the stomach, it rapidly converts into magnesium hydroxide [Mg(OH)₂] and aluminium hydroxide [Al(OH)₃].
These compounds are poorly absorbed, providing a sustained antacid effect without significant systemic absorption.

Oxecone-M is prescribed for the relief of:
- Dyspepsia
- Heartburn
- Acid indigestion
- Sour stomach
- Gastroesophageal reflux and hiatal hernia
- Flatulence
It is also beneficial in hyperacidity linked with peptic ulcers, gastritis, and esophagitis. Use in children is possible if recommended by a physician.

- Mild gastric disorders / gastritis: 1–2 tablets or 1–2 teaspoonfuls, taken 1–2 hours after meals, at bedtime, or as needed.
- Duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, reflux oesophagitis: 2–4 tablets or 2–4 teaspoonfuls, taken 1–2 hours after meals, at bedtime, or as needed.
- Children: Half the adult dose.
