- It is best taken after meals and before bedtime. Avoid taking it with large amounts of milk or dairy, as this may increase side effects.

There’s no clinical evidence to suggest that Gaviscon affects fertility.

✔️ Avoid use if:
- You are allergic to sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, or parabens (e.g., methyl or propyl parahydroxybenzoate)
- You have severe kidney disease, electrolyte imbalances, heart disease, or high blood pressure.
✔️ Gaviscon can interfere with the absorption of other oral medications.
✅ Leave a 2-hour gap if taking:
- Antibiotics (e.g., tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones)
- Iron supplements
- Thyroid medications
- Chloroquine
- Bisphosphonates
- Estramustine
✔️ Storage:
Do not store above 25°c and store in the original package. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date shown.
