Rapasin 4 is prescribed for the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition characterized by enlargement of the prostate gland that leads to urinary symptoms. The tablet should be swallowed whole and must not be crushed or chewed.

Rapasin 4 is an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker. It selectively relaxes the smooth muscles of the prostate, bladder neck, and bladder outlet, allowing urine to flow more easily and reducing urinary obstruction.

- Retrograde ejaculation
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Nasal congestion
- Diarrhea
- Orthostatic hypotension (drop in blood pressure on standing)
✔️ How to Take Rapasin 4
- Take with food, exactly as directed by your doctor
- Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush, chew, or break
- Take it at a fixed time each day for best results

- Urinate when you feel the urge; do not strain
- Avoid caffeine and alcohol, especially in the evening
- Limit fluid intake before bedtime or going out

Adults (BPH)
8 mg once daily, taken with a meal
Hepatic Impairment
Mild to moderate (Child-Pugh A or B): No dose adjustment required
Severe (Child-Pugh C): Contraindicated
Renal Impairment
CrCl 30–50 mL/min: 4 mg once daily
CrCl <30 mL/min: Contraindicated

- Known hypersensitivity to the drug
- Severe renal impairment
- Severe hepatic impairment

- May cause dizziness or blurred vision; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medicine affects you
- Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease
- Patients aged over 65 years may have a higher risk of low blood pressure
- Notify your eye surgeon if you are scheduled for cataract or glaucoma surgery
- Use cautiously in patients with hepatic or renal impairment
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
