✔️ Side Effects:

✔️ Mycon oral gel is used for:

• Oral candidiasis (oral thrush).
• Certain gastrointestinal candidiasis infections.
• Reducing fungal colonization in the mouth and gastrointestinal tract, when clinically indicated.

✔️ Mycon Oral Gel

The dose and duration depend on the patient's age, the infection being treated, and the product concentration.

• Adults and children aged 2 years and older: Use the prescribed amount, commonly administered four times daily for oral candidiasis, when consistent with the product's approved instructions.
• Infants and young children: Use only under medical supervision. The dose must be measured accurately, and the gel must be applied carefully to avoid choking.
• Gastrointestinal candidiasis: Treatment should follow the physician's instructions and the approved product information.

For oral infections, apply the prescribed amount to the affected areas with a clean finger or as directed. Keep the gel in contact with the affected area for as long as possible. Continue treatment for the duration prescribed, even if symptoms improve earlier.

For patients with dental prostheses, follow the dentist's or physician's instructions for cleaning the prosthesis.

Important: Do not place a large amount of gel at the back of an infant's or young child's throat because it may obstruct breathing.

• Tell your physician if you have a known allergy to miconazole or any ingredient in the product.
• Use oral gel cautiously in infants and young children because improper application may cause choking.
• Inform your physician if you take anticoagulants such as warfarin, as miconazole may increase the risk of bleeding.
