Olpadin DS 0.2% Eye Drops 5ml

Olopatadine blocks histamine H1 receptors and helps inhibit histamine release from mast cells. This action reduces allergic reactions in the eyes, including itching, redness, and watering.

• Adults: The source-listed dose is one drop in each affected eye once daily.
• Children: The source-listed dose for children aged over 2 years is one drop in each affected eye once daily.

Use Olpadin DS only as directed by your doctor. The appropriate dose depends on the exact formulation and its strength.

• Wash your hands before using the eye drops.
• Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid.
• Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching the eye, eyelid, or surrounding area.
• Instil the prescribed number of drops into the lower eyelid.
• Close your eye gently and wipe away any excess liquid.
• Replace the cap securely after use.
• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface, as this may contaminate the solution.

Possible side effects include:

• Eye pain or irritation
• Burning or stinging sensation
• Eye discomfort or a foreign-body sensation

• Blurred vision temporarily after application
