Pharmacological Properties:
Ovacyst contains D-chiro-inositol, a compound derived via a patented extraction from Carob pods (Ceratonia siliqua), commonly found in Southern Europe. A deficiency of this nutrient in body tissues contributes to insulin resistance, which can lead to excess androgen production in the ovaries and ultimately PCOS.
D-chiro-inositol helps:
Regulate the balance of estrogen and androgens by lowering luteinizing hormone (LH) and testosterone levels
Improve insulin sensitivity and reduce insulin levels
Relieve oxidative stress on ovarian follicles
Lower total cholesterol and triglycerides
It has been clinically validated as an effective therapy for PCOS and its associated metabolic disturbances. Within two weeks, it may begin to restore normal ovulation and alleviate symptoms like acne, hair loss, dark skin patches, and excessive facial/body hair. Moreover, it may help reduce cardiovascular risks in PCOS patients by controlling blood pressure.
