Acupain (Ketorolac Tromethamine) | Short-Term Relief for Moderate to Severe Pain
Acupain is a fast-acting, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) from the pyrrolo-pyrrole class, indicated for the short-term treatment of moderate to severe acute post-operative pain. It is available in tablet, injectable, and ophthalmic forms to meet various clinical needs.
Acupain works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing the production of prostaglandins—chemicals responsible for pain, inflammation, and swelling. It acts primarily as a peripherally-acting analgesic with minimal anti-inflammatory action at standard doses.
