- Initial Therapy: The usual starting dose is 40/5 mg once daily. If a greater blood pressure reduction is needed, 80/5 mg once daily may be used.
- Dosage Adjustments: Dose adjustments may be made after at least two weeks, up to a maximum of 80 mg/10 mg daily.
- Hepatic Impairment: Dose adjustments may be required for those with liver issues.
- Special Populations: Not recommended for patients over 75 years old or those with severe hepatic impairment.
