✔️ Pharmacology

This formulation combines Iron Polymaltose Complex with folic acid, zinc, and B vitamins. Iron Polymaltose Complex is a water-soluble iron (III) hydroxide complex with partially hydrolyzed dextrin (Polymaltose), which ensures enhanced absorption and bioavailability as it doesn't interact with food or other drugs. It effectively supports hemoglobin synthesis.
Folic acid helps prevent neural tube defects. Zinc plays a vital role in metabolism, immune function, wound healing, and blood formation.

• Thiamine supports nerve and digestive system function.
• Riboflavin contributes to digestion, immunity, and energy production.
• Pyridoxine supports brain development, red blood cell formation, and protein metabolism, and may help reduce morning sickness.
• Nicotinamide aids in energy metabolism, blood pressure regulation, and circulation.

No known drug interactions have been reported.

✔️ Dosage and Administration

Recommended dose: 1 capsule daily. In more severe cases, up to 2 capsules per day may be used, as prescribed by the doctor.

Should not be used in individuals who are allergic to any of its components.

Safe and recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

✔️ Precautions and Warnings

• Use with caution in individuals at risk of iron overload, such as those with hemochromatosis, hemolytic anemia, or red cell aplasia. Iron may interact with tetracyclines, reducing absorption.
• Iron overdose can be fatal in children under 6. Excess intake may cause symptoms like vomiting, abdominal pain, bloody diarrhea, dark stools, and metabolic acidosis.
• Riboflavin is considered very safe, with no toxicity reported.
• High doses of Nicotinamide can lead to gastrointestinal upset.
• Long-term high intake of Pyridoxine (above 200 mg/day) may cause nerve damage.
• No toxicity has been observed with excess folic acid intake.
• Zinc toxicity, although rare at normal doses, may affect copper and iron balance, immune function, and lipid profile at high doses (150–450 mg/day). However, when taken at the recommended level, zinc is safe.
