Oral-Z is used for the treatment and prevention of folic acid and zinc deficiencies. It helps in maintaining proper growth, immune function, and red blood cell formation.
Syrup: 1–2 teaspoonfuls per day
Follow the physician’s recommendation for exact dosing.
Mode of Action
Cofactor for over 100 enzymes
Supports DNA synthesis, immune function, and insulin activity

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation
Folic acid is contraindicated in untreated vitamin B12 (cobalamine) deficiency

Side Effects

Folic Acid: Reduced serum folate levels may occur with antiepileptics, oral contraceptives, anti-TB drugs, alcohol, aminopterin, methotrexate, pyrimethamine, trimethoprim, and sulfonamides.
Phenytoin: Serum concentrations may decrease.
Zinc: Absorption may be affected by quinolones, tetracyclines, cisplatin, penicillamine, amiloride.
