Indications

The combination of Olmesartan Medoxomil & Hydrochlorothiazide is indicated for the treatment of hypertension.

Interaction

Contraindications

A combination of olmesartan and hydrochlorothiazide is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient of this product. Side Effects

Pregnancy & Lactation

Safety and effectiveness in nursing and pregnant women have not been established. The drug should be stopped under these conditions.

Precautions & Warnings

Periodic determinations of serum electrolytes should be performed at appropriate intervals to detect possible electrolyte imbalances such as hypokalemia, hyponatremia, and hypochloremic alkalosis.

Hyperuricemia may occur in some patients being treated with thiazides.

Renal failure.
