• Stimulation of the parasympathetic system leads to symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, and hypotension (low blood pressure).

✔️ Dosage & Administration

Oral Dosage:

• Acute Ischemic Stroke (due to clot): Administer 500-2000 mg of Citicoline daily, beginning within 24 hours of stroke onset.
• Cognitive Decline after Stroke: Use 1000-2000 mg daily to aid in the improvement of thinking and memory.
• Chronic Cerebrovascular Disease: A dose of 1000 mg daily in divided doses with or between meals to manage ongoing cerebrovascular conditions.

Geriatric Use: No special dosage adjustments are required for elderly patients, and the usual dosage can be safely used.

• Intracranial Hemorrhage: In cases of persistent brain hemorrhage, Vivicit should be administered slowly at a rate of 30 drops/minute to prevent increasing cerebral blood flow.
• Alcohol: It is advised that patients avoid consuming alcohol while using Vivicit.
