Carazol 0.06 mg Nasal Spray

✔️ Iota-Carrageenan works by forming a protective, viscous barrier film over the nasal mucosa. This barrier:

• Non-specifically binds and traps viruses
• Prevents viral adhesion to mucosal cells
• Blocks newly released virus particles from spreading to healthy cells
• Reduces viral replication and transmission within the nasal cavity
• In addition, due to its high water-binding capacity, iota-Carrageenan forms a moisturizing gel that:
• Protects against dryness caused by low humidity and air pollution
• Maintains healthy nasal mucosa
• Enhances the nose’s natural filtering and defense function
• Acts as a barrier against allergens and external irritants

✔️ Dosage | Adults and Children (≥ 1 year)

For cold and flu-like symptoms (nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing):

1–2 sprays into each nostril

1–4 times daily

For dry or irritated nasal mucosa:

Spray several times daily as needed, depending on individual requirement or as advised by a physician

✔️ Method of Administration

• Shake the bottle well and remove the dust cap.
• Hold the spray with the forefinger and middle finger on either side of the nozzle and the thumb underneath.
• If using for the first time or after prolonged non-use, prime the spray until a fine mist appears.
• Gently blow the nose to clear the nostrils.
• Close one nostril and insert the applicator into the other nostril.
• Keep the bottle upright and tilt the head slightly forward.
• Inhale through the nose while pressing the applicator once.
• Exhale through the mouth.
• Repeat in the other nostril if required.

✔️ Cleaning Instructions

• Clean the nasal applicator at least once weekly
• Remove the dust cap
• Gently pull off the nasal applicator
• Wash the applicator and cap with warm water
• Shake off excess water and allow to air-dry (do not apply heat)
• Reattach the applicator and replace the dust cap
• Warning: Do not use pins or sharp objects to clean the nozzle, as this may damage the spray mechanism.
