✔️ A-Flox treats infections such as:

Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Boils, abscesses, carbuncles, infected wounds, burns, impetigo, and eczema.
Respiratory Tract Infections: Pneumonia, lung abscess, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis.
Other Infections: Osteomyelitis, meningitis, septicemia, endocarditis, and urinary tract infections. It’s also used preventively in surgeries like cardiothoracic and orthopedic procedures.
Note: Follow your healthcare provider’s advice for usage.

✔️ Dosage

Adults: Oral - 250 mg four times daily (can be doubled for severe infections). IV/IM injections: 250 mg to 1 g four times daily, increased in severe cases.
Children: 2-10 years - half the adult dose; under 2 years - a quarter of the adult dose. Take oral doses one hour before meals.

✔️ Common side effects include:

Gastrointestinal disturbances: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Skin reactions: rashes, urticaria.
Rare but serious effects: hepatitis, jaundice, and interstitial nephritis.

Renal Impairment: Dose adjustment is needed for severe renal issues (creatinine clearance <10 ml/min).
