✔️ Mode of Action

Lucazol is an imidazole antifungal that interferes with the fungal cell membrane by inhibiting 14-alpha demethylase, an enzyme necessary for ergosterol synthesis. Without ergosterol, the fungal cell membrane becomes unstable, leading to leakage of cellular contents and the eventual death of the fungus.

✔️ Dosage & Administration

• Adults:
  • Interdigital Tinea Pedis (Athlete’s Foot): Apply once daily for 2 weeks.
  • Tinea Cruris (Jock Itch) & Tinea Corporis (Ringworm): Apply once daily for 1 week.
• Children:
  • Tinea Cruris & Tinea Corporis:
    • Below 12 years: Safety and effectiveness not established.
    • 12-18 years: Apply once daily for 1 week.
  • Tinea Pedis:
    • Below 2 years: Safety and effectiveness not established.
    • 2-18 years: Apply once daily for 2 weeks.

Apply the cream to the affected area and extend it 1 inch beyond the infected skin.
