✔️ Tylen Plus combines two active ingredients:
Paracetamol, which acts as an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer), though it has minimal anti-inflammatory properties.
Caffeine, a xanthine derivative, enhances paracetamol’s effectiveness by improving its solubility and absorption across membranes. It also raises the pain threshold and tightens cerebral blood vessels, making it especially beneficial in treating headaches and migraine.
✔️ Side Effects & Overdose:
Usually well-tolerated, but possible side effects include:
Blood disorders like thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, pancytopenia, or agranulocytosis
Rarely, pancreatitis, skin rash, or other allergic reactions
Overdose Information
Early symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, pallor, abdominal pain, loss of appetite
Within 12–40 hours, signs of liver damage may appear
Can cause metabolic acidosis and abnormal glucose metabolism
