✔️ Dosage & Administration of Bispep Oral Suspension

• Adults (over 16): 30 ml using the provided dosing cup or 6 teaspoons.
• Children (10-14 years): 15 ml (3 teaspoons).
• Children (5-9 years): 7.5 ml (1.5 teaspoons).
• Children (3-4 years): 5 ml (1 teaspoon).
• Children under 3 years: Consult a doctor.
• Elderly: No special precautions are needed.
• Renal insufficiency: Use with caution.

Repeat doses can be taken every 30 minutes to 1 hour if needed, but no more than 8 doses should be taken within 24 hours.

✔️ Drug Interactions:

Since Bispep Oral Suspension contains salicylates, it should be used cautiously in patients taking:

• Anticoagulants (blood thinners)
• Oral diabetes medications
• Treatments for gout or arthritis

✔️ Contraindications:

Bispep Oral Suspension should not be used by those allergic to aspirin, salicylates, or any other ingredients in this formulation.

✔️ Side Effects:

• Common: Black stool and black tongue.
• If symptoms persist beyond 2 days, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation:

• Pregnancy Category C: There are insufficient studies in humans to determine the safety of Bismuth Subsalicylate during pregnancy. It should only be used during pregnancy or lactation if necessary.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings:

• Avoid taking Bispep Oral Suspension alongside aspirin or other salicylates.
• Caution is required for patients on anticoagulants, or those with diabetes or gout.

✔️ Overdose Effects:

Bispep Oral Suspension overdose may present with symptoms like confusion, tremors, gastrointestinal disturbances, and renal dysfunction. Overdose can also cause salicylate intoxication, leading to symptoms such as dizziness, tinnitus, nausea, and headache. Treatment includes gastric lavage, hydration, and in severe cases, chelation or hemodialysis.

• Store at temperatures below 30°C, away from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
