Suito is an artificial sweetener and sugar substitute. Upon ingestion, the majority of Suitot is not metabolized by the body, making it noncaloric. Known as E955 in the European Union, Suito is significantly sweeter than sucrose and other artificial sweeteners. It remains stable under heat and across a broad range of pH levels, making it suitable for baking and products requiring longer shelf life. The commercial success of Suito-based products is attributed to their favorable taste, stability, and safety compared to other low-calorie sweeteners.

✔️ How does Suito work?

Suito is a zero-calorie artificial sweetener derived from sucrose, where three hydroxyl groups are replaced by three chlorine atoms. It is approximately 600 times sweeter than sugar but tastes similar to sugar due to its sucrose origin. The tightly bound carbon-chlorine bonds make Suito exceptionally stable and prevent its breakdown of energy, rendering it calorie-free. It passes through the body unchanged, not metabolized, and has no caloric impact. Suito does not cause tooth decay, affect carbohydrate metabolism, or interfere with fetal or neonatal development. It is safe for consumption by individuals with diabetes as it does not interfere with glucose utilization, carbohydrate metabolism, or insulin secretion.

The acceptable daily intake of Suito is 5-15 mg/kg body weight. Normally, 1 sachet (6.5 gm) in a cup of tea or coffee is sufficient to sweeten the drink. 

For Suito, the acceptable daily intake (ADI) is 5-15 mg per kg of body weight. Each drop is equivalent to one teaspoon of sugar. Typically, one drop in a cup of tea or coffee is enough to sweeten the drink, or as directed by a physician.
