✔️ Composition

Each effervescent tablet contains:

• Calcium Lactate Gluconate: 1358.196 mg
• Calcium Carbonate BP: 1050 mg (equivalent to 600 mg elemental calcium)
• Vitamin D (as Cholecalciferol BP): 400 IU

✔️ Pharmacology

Adequate calcium levels in the blood are crucial for a wide variety of bodily functions. Clinical evidence suggests that calcium is useful for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and associated fractures. Vitamin D is essential for healthy bones as it aids in calcium absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and stimulates bone formation. Clinical studies show that calcium and vitamin D have synergistic effects on bone growth, osteoporosis prevention, and fracture prevention.

✔️ Dosage & Administration

• Dosage: 1-2 tablets per day, preferably one tablet each morning and evening, or as directed by a physician.
• Administration: Dissolve one tablet in a glass of water. The tablet will dissolve within 1-2 minutes. Drink the solution immediately.

✔️ Interaction

Possible interactions include:

• Digoxin
• Antacids containing calcium, aluminum, or magnesium
• Other calcium supplements
• Calcitriol
• Tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline, or oxytetracycline Consult a physician when taking this supplement with any of these drugs.

✔️ Contraindications

• Hypercalcemia and hyperparathyroidism
• Hypercalciuria and nephrolithiasis
• Hypersensitivity to any component of this preparation
• Severe renal insufficiencies

• Dizziness or irritability The most serious consequence of acute chronic overdose is hypercalcemia due to vitamin D toxicity.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation

This effervescent tablet can be used during pregnancy for calcium and vitamin D deficiency. However, during the third trimester, the daily intake should not exceed 1500 mg of calcium and 1000 IU of vitamin D. This preparation can also be used during breastfeeding.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings

• Discontinue use if hypercalcemia occurs, as it is usually sufficient to return serum calcium concentrations to normal.
• Use cautiously in patients with sarcoidosis, renal or cardiac disease, and in patients receiving cardiac glycosides.
• Patients with a history of stone formation should be recommended to increase their fluid intake.
