A-Cal D combines Calcium Carbonate and Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol). Calcium supports various essential bodily functions, particularly for bone formation and maintenance. Vitamin D3 facilitates the absorption and reabsorption of calcium and promotes bone formation. Clinical research demonstrates that combining Calcium and Vitamin D3 supports bone growth and helps prevent osteoporosis and fractures.
✔️ Dosage & Administration
- Calcium 500 mg and Vitamin D3 200 IU Tablet: Take 2 tablets daily or 1 tablet twice daily, ideally with or just after a meal to enhance absorption.
- Calcium 500 mg and Vitamin D3 400 IU Tablet: Take 1 tablet twice daily, with or just after a meal for optimal absorption.

Potential interactions may occur with other calcium, aluminum, or magnesium-containing antacids, other calcium supplements, calcitriol, vitamin D3 supplements, digoxin, and antibiotics like tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline, or oxytetracycline.
✔️ Contraindications
This supplement is contraindicated in cases of hypercalcemia, hyperthyroidism, renal stones (nephrolithiasis), and Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome.
