Avobenzone:

It is a common ingredient in sunscreens helpful in absorbing UVA rays. It absorbs UVA rays of wavelength 320-400nm, which are responsible for premature aging and contribute to skin cancer.

Octinoxate:

Octinoxate is effective at absorbing UVB rays (280-320 nm), which are primarily responsible for causing sunburn and contributing to skin cancer. By filtering out these harmful rays, it helps protect the skin from sunburn and long-term damage.

Zinc Oxide:

A protective zinc oxide layer on top of the skin reflects and absorbs the harmful UVA (also considered to be carcinogenic) and UVB rays such that they don’t reach your skin.

Benzophenone-4:

It helps to stabilize other UV filters like Avobenzone, which can degrade in sunlight. This ensures the sunscreen remains effective for longer periods during sun exposure.
