✔️ Side Effects & Management of Side Effects: Melnor Cream

Melnor Cream may cause redness, skin peeling, burning sensation, dryness, itching, and acne at the application site. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist.

Most of the side effects mentioned above resolve on discontinuing this cream and are temporary and, in most cases, do not require medical attention. If you experience severe or persistent side effects from this cream, consult your doctor.

✔️ Pharmacology

Melnor Cream is applied topically to the affected area. It is meant for external use only and should not be taken orally.

✔️ Melnor Cream can interact with diseases, including:

• Eczema (a skin disease): This cream can worsen eczema symptoms.
• Actinic keratoses (scaly spots or patches on the top layer of the skin): This cream can exacerbate actinic keratoses.
• Other skin conditions: This cream can exacerbate existing skin conditions.
• Cushing's syndrome (an abnormal condition caused by excess hormones): The systemic absorption of topical corticosteroids can worsen this condition.
• Diabetes mellitus: The systemic absorption of topical corticosteroids can worsen diabetes mellitus.

• Melnor Cream is not recommended during pregnancy due to the risk of foetal harm. Inform your doctor if this cream is prescribed to you during pregnancy.
• Breastfeeding mothers should cautiously apply this cream. Care should be taken to avoid contact between breastfed infants and Melnor Cream. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding when this cream is prescribed.
• This cream will not likely affect your ability to operate machinery or drive. It is safe to use it before using machines or driving.
• If you are allergic to hydroquinone, mometasone, tretinoin, or any other ingredient in this cream, you should not apply Melnor Cream. Read the label and check the ingredients before applying this cream to avoid allergic reactions.
