✔️ Dosage & Administration:
- Apply once daily at night, at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
- Cleanse the face with a gentle cleanser, rinse, and pat dry.
- Apply a thin layer of cream over affected areas, extending about ½ inch beyond the pigmented patches.
- Rub gently and evenly into the skin.
- During the day, use sunscreen and wear protective clothing to avoid sun exposure.
- Moisturizers or makeup can be used during the daytime if needed.
Pediatric Use: The safety and effectiveness of Melasin Cream in pediatric populations have not been established.
✔️ Possible Side Effects:
- Mild to moderate redness, peeling, dryness, itching, or burning sensation at the application site.
- Rarely, severe allergic reactions or exacerbation of asthma may occur.
If symptoms of hypersensitivity or severe irritation occur, discontinue use.
✔️ Avoid the use of:
- Irritating topical products (abrasive soaps, cleansers, or alcohol-based products)
- Keratolytic agents
- Photosensitizing drugs or cosmetics

Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients in the formulation.

- Pregnancy (Category C): Contains Tretinoin, a known teratogen. Use only if potential benefits outweigh risks.
- Lactation: It is not known whether topical application results in drug levels in breast milk. Exercise caution when using in nursing mothers.
✔️ Precautions & Warnings:
- Monitor for signs of local irritation (e.g., burning, erythema, peeling).
- Discontinue if hypersensitivity or severe irritation develops.
- Systemic absorption of Fluocinolone may cause HPA axis suppression, Cushing’s syndrome, or hyperglycemia.
- Reversible HPA suppression typically resolves after discontinuation.
