Zinc pyrithione makes fungal cells absorb copper which in turn inactivates protein mechanisms in cells. This is how it stops fungal growth. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medication. It reduces oil production in the skin, replenishes the skin, and it also keeps your pores open.
