Xoviral is an antiviral eye medication used to treat viral eye infections, particularly acute herpetic keratitis (dendritic ulcers) caused by herpes simplex virus (HSV). It is also used in immunocompromised patients to manage cytomegalovirus (CMV)-related eye infections, helping reduce the risk of vision loss.

1 drop in the affected eye, 5 times daily (approximately every 3 hours while awake) until the corneal ulcer heals.
Then 1 drop, 3 times daily for 7 days as advised by the doctor.
