✔️ Recommended Dosage:

• Adults (including elderly individuals) and children:
  • One spray in each nostril, four times daily.
• Always follow the prescribed dosage and duration provided by a healthcare professional.

✔️ Side Effects

In general, Natrol Plus Nasal Spray is well tolerated, and no serious adverse effects have been reported. However, some individuals may experience mild and temporary side effects, such as:

• Mild nasal irritation (particularly during the first day of use)
• Dryness of the nasal passages
• Sneezing
• Headache
• Drowsiness or insomnia
• Heart palpitations (rare)

In very rare cases, Sodium Cromoglicate alone has been associated with symptoms such as wheezing and chest tightness. However, due to the lower dose of Xylometazoline in Natrol Plus, these symptoms are expected to be mild.

✔️ Administration Instructions: How to Use the Nasal Spray Properly

To ensure the nasal spray is used effectively, follow these steps carefully:

Prepare the Spray:

• Shake the bottle gently before use.
• Remove the protective dust cover.

Prime the Spray (for first-time use or if unused for a week or more):

• Hold the bottle upright, placing the index and middle fingers on either side of the nozzle while supporting the bottom with your thumb.
• Press down on the spray mechanism several times until a fine mist is released.

✔️ Application Process:

• Clear your nasal passages by gently blowing your nose.
• Close one nostril and carefully insert the spray nozzle into the open nostril.
• Tilt your head slightly forward while keeping the bottle upright.
• Inhale deeply through your nose and, at the same time, press down firmly to release a spray into the nostril.
• Exhale through your mouth.
• Repeat the same steps for the other nostril, if needed.

✔️ Cleaning the Nasal Spray:

• To maintain hygiene and prevent contamination, clean the spray nozzle at least once a week using the following steps:
  • Remove the dust cover and gently pull off the nasal applicator.
  • Wash both parts in warm water.
  • Shake off excess water and allow to air dry naturally (avoid applying heat).
  • Reassemble the spray by placing the applicator back onto the bottle and replacing the dust cover

• This medication is not suitable for individuals who have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients in Natrol Plus Nasal Spray.

• Extended or excessive use of decongestant nasal sprays can lead to rebound congestion (medically known as rhinitis medicamentosa), where the nasal passages become persistently congested even after discontinuation.
