Gaviscon peppermint liquid relief oral suspension brings fast, soothing, and long-lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion. It can be used to treat gastric reflux (a condition in which the acid stomach contents flow upwards into the food pipe) and flatulence caused by gastric reflux.

• Treatment of symptoms resulting from the reflux of acid, bile, and pepsin into the esophagus such as acid regurgitation, heartburn, and indigestion (occurring due to the reflux of stomach contents), for instance, after gastric surgery, as a result of hiatus hernia, during pregnancy, accompanying reflux esophagitis, including symptoms of laryngopharyngeal reflux such as hoarseness and other voice disorders, sore throats and cough. It can also be used to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux during concomitant treatment with or following the withdrawal of acid-suppressing therapy.

Dosage and Warnings

Adults and children over 12 years; take 5-10ml after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. Children under 12 years: not to be given unless recommended by the doctor. Always read the label before taking this medicine.

• This medicine contains sodium, potassium, and calcium. If you have been advised to follow a diet restricted in either of these salts please consult your doctor before taking this product.
