✔️ How does Picon Lotion work?

Picon Lotion contains Pimecrolimus, a topical immunomodulator (calcineurin inhibitor).
It works by blocking certain immune responses in the skin that cause inflammation. This reduces the release of chemical messengers responsible for itching, redness, and flare-ups, preventing eczema from worsening.

✔️ How to use Picon Lotion

Apply a thin layer only to the affected skin areas.
Clean the skin with mild soap and water, let it dry completely before applying.

Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Wash your hands before and after applying (unless your hands are affected).

Patients with weakened immune systems, erythroderma, Netherton’s syndrome, or skin malignancies should use only under close medical supervision.
Minimise exposure to sunlight, tanning lamps, and UV therapy while on treatment. Use protective clothing and sunscreen if outdoors.
Avoid smoking or open flames near fabrics that have been in contact with the lotion, as they can catch fire easily.
