✔️ Pharmacology:

Tranexamic acid is a potent antiplasminic agent for use in cattle, horses, dogs, cats, and pigs.
It exercises a general hemostatic action against various kinds of bleeding by:
- Inhibiting fibrinolysis
- Regeneration of platelets
- Inhibiting the increase in vascular fragility caused by plasmin.
It is an effective agent in reducing edema.

✔️ Dosage & Administration:

For intramuscular, subcutaneous & intravenous administration.
Cattle & Horse: 1 ml/4-20 kg body weight (5-25 mg/kg body weight).
Dogs, Cats, and Pigs: 1 ml/7-10 kg body weight (10-15 mg/kg) once or twice daily.
Dogs and Cats (As an Emetic): 1 ml/4 kg body weight (25mg/kg) by rapid I.V. injection. Or, as Directed by the Veterinary Physician.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation:

Animal studies have not shown evidence of impaired fertility or adverse effects on the fetus.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings:

Withdrawal period: Meat: 2 days.

✔️ Storage Conditions:

Store in a cool & dry place, protected from light.
