Xofyl 200 mg is used for:

Asthma – to prevent and manage symptoms
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) – to improve airflow and ease breathing

Adults:

Conventional tablet: 400 mg, 1–3 times daily
Sustained-release tablet: 400 mg once daily (evening preferred to reduce nighttime symptoms)
Dosages up to 1200 mg/day may be prescribed depending on disease severity
Elderly patients may require a lower dose

Children:

12 years: 200 mg tablet, 2–3 times daily or syrup 10 ml, 2–3 times daily

<12 years: 6 mg/kg twice daily, may be increased up to 9 mg/kg twice daily under supervision
