✔️ How should Solone be taken?

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor
• Follow the dosage schedule based on your condition and age
• Can be taken with or without food, but food may help prevent stomach upset
• Do not stop suddenly; dose reduction must be gradual

Fluid & Electrolyte: Sodium and fluid retention, potassium loss, high blood pressure
Muscles & Bones: Muscle weakness, osteoporosis, fractures
Gastrointestinal: Ulcers, pancreatitis, abdominal discomfort
Skin: Thin skin, impaired wound healing, bruising, facial redness, increased sweating
Neurological: Headache, vertigo, convulsions
Endocrine: Menstrual changes, Cushingoid appearance, growth suppression in children, glucose intolerance
Eyes: Cataracts, glaucoma, eye infections
Metabolic: Protein breakdown, altered nitrogen balance

Side effects usually appear with prolonged use or high doses. Report serious or persistent symptoms to your doctor.

• Reduced effectiveness with: antacids, barbiturates, carbamazepine, phenytoin, rifampin, and others
• May lower potassium; monitor if using digitalis

• Avoid combining with other corticosteroids unless advised
