Flonaspray Max 93mcg Nasal Spray

✔️ Cleaning Process Fluticasone Propionate Spray

• Clean the nasal applicator at least once weekly
• Wash the nozzle and cap in warm water, shake off excess water, and allow to air-dry
• Reattach the applicator and replace the dust cover
• Do not use heat to dry the parts

✔️ Dosage & Administration

Fluticasone Propionate 50 mcg/spray

Adults:

2 sprays in each nostril once daily (preferably in the morning)

In some cases, may be increased to twice daily

Maximum daily dose: 200 mcg (4 sprays)

Children (4–11 years):

1 spray in each nostril once daily

May be increased to twice daily if required

Maximum daily dose: 100 mcg (2 sprays)

Children below 4 years:

Safety and efficacy have not been established

Fluticasone Propionate 93 mcg/spray (Adults only)

1–2 sprays in each nostril twice daily

Maximum daily dose: 744 mcg

Regular use as prescribed is essential for optimal therapeutic benefit.

✔️ Method of Administration (How to Use)

• Shake the bottle gently and remove the dust cap.
• If using for the first time or after a break of one week, prime the spray until a fine mist appears.
• Gently blow the nose to clear the nostrils.
• Close one nostril and insert the applicator into the other nostril.
• Tilt the head slightly forward and keep the bottle upright.
• Breathe in through the nose while pressing the applicator once.
• Breathe out through the mouth.
• Repeat for the other nostril if required.

✔️ Side Effects

• Nasal or throat dryness
• Unpleasant taste or smell
• Nasal irritation
• Increased incidence of nosebleeds (epistaxis)

✔️ Contraindications:

Flonaspray Max is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluticasone propionate or any of the formulation components.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy: Use only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.

Lactation: It is unknown whether fluticasone propionate is excreted in human milk. Caution is advised when used during breastfeeding.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings

Rare cases of nasal septum perforation, wheezing, cataracts, glaucoma, and increased intraocular pressure have been reported with intranasal corticosteroids

Systemic effects are uncommon at recommended doses but may increase with excessive use

Avoid exceeding prescribed doses
