Route: Oral
Recommended Dose: 25 mg once weekly, either as monotherapy or combined with other anti-diabetic medications.
Missed Dose: Take as soon as possible, then resume your regular weekly schedule. Do not take two doses at once.
Renal Impairment:
Severe kidney failure or end-stage renal disease:
Men (CrCl > 1.9): 12.5 mg once weekly
Women (CrCl > 1.4): 12.5 mg once weekly
Children & Adolescents: Safety and effectiveness not established
✔️ Do not use Marzev if you have:
- Allergies to Omarigliptin or any ingredient
- Severe ketosis, diabetic coma, or pre-coma (type 1 diabetes)
- Severe infection, trauma, or if insulin therapy is required around surgery
✔️ Use Marzev carefully in people with:
- Hormonal disorders (adrenal or pituitary issues)
- Malnutrition, starvation, or irregular dietary intake
- Elderly age or debilitated state
- Excessive alcohol use
- High physical activity
- Occupations requiring alertness (driving, machinery, aerial work)
