✔️ Each gram micronutrient powder (in one sachet) contains-

• Vitamin A (Vitamin A Acetate) USP: 0.30 mg
• Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid): 30.00 mg
• Folic Acid USP: 0.16 mg

✔️ Side Effects

Generally, there are no side effects, but the iron content may cause the child's stool to become hard, soft, or black. This should normalize in a few days.

Anemia is a leading cause of malnutrition in children under five. In Bangladesh, over 50% of children under five suffer from iron deficiency anemia (IDA). This powder effectively treats and prevents anemia and is suitable for children aged 6-24 months.

Ideal for children aged 6-23 months. As per WHO recommendations, it effectively addresses iron and micronutrient deficiency anemia in children under five.

✔️ Dosage:

• Mix one sachet with semi-solid or soft food (rice, porridge, etc.) when the child is hungry
• Feed the child the mixture within half an hour
• Administer one sachet daily for 2 months, followed by a 4-month break, and then continue for another 2 months. Continue this process up to 59 months of age.

✔️ Contraindications

Not suitable for children with thalassemia, sickle cell anemia, or HIV/AIDS.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings

• It is not recommended for children who are hospitalized or severely malnourished. It can be reintroduced once the child starts eating normally.
• Do not mix the powder with hot, liquid, or hard food.
• Do not use it if the sachet is torn, expired, or abandoned.
