It works by slowing the activity of the nerve cells in the brain and helps fall asleep.

✔️ Administration of S-Clon 2

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. S-Clon is to be taken empty stomach.

✔️ Dosage & Administration of S-Clon 2

• Adults: The usual dose to improve or maintain sleep is 2 or 3 mg.
• Adults over 65 years: Usually treated with 1 or 2 mg.
• Administration: Take immediately before going to bed since the onset of sedation can occur as quickly as 10 minutes. It should only be taken by individuals who intend to sleep for at least 8 hours as its effects can last up to six hours.

• Avoid alcohol and other sedating drugs as their combined effects with S-Clon 2 can cause excessive sedation.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation

• Pregnancy: Category C. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed.
• Nursing Mothers: It is unknown if Eszopiclone is excreted in breast milk. Use caution when administering to nursing mothers.
