Tazarotene, the active ingredient, modulates gene expression in acne and psoriasis by affecting cell proliferation and differentiation.

✔️ Quick Suggestions:

• Apply Tazoskin as directed by your doctor and complete the full course even if symptoms improve.
• Wash hands properly before and after application. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse with water if accidental exposure occurs.
• Protect treated skin from sunlight with clothing or sunscreen. Avoid airtight dressings unless directed.
• Inform your doctor if the infection persists after four weeks of treatment.

✔️ Indication of Tazoskin 0.1% Cream

• Tazarotene cream 0.1% is used topically for the treatment of plaque psoriasis and acne.

✔️ Pharmacology

• Tazarotene, a retinoid prodrug, converts to its active form, reducing the expression of inflammatory markers and preventing the production of psoriatic scales.

✔️ Dosage & Administration of Tazoskin 0.1% Cream

• For psoriasis: Apply once daily in the evening for up to twelve weeks, as directed by the doctor.
• For acne: Cleanse the face gently, and apply a thin layer once daily in the evening to affected areas.

✔️ Interaction

Increased drying effect with concomitant use of dermatologic medications and cosmetics. Increased risk of photosensitivity with drugs known to be photosensitizers.

• Avoid use during pregnancy, as it may harm the fetus. Women of reproductive potential should use proper birth control.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation

• Tazarotene is teratogenic; avoid use during pregnancy. Its excretion in human milk is unknown, so caution is advised during lactation.
